What does a teenage girl fear the most?? Pimples?? Marks at School?? Rejection in Love life?? No. There’s something even bigger. Stains. Stains of shame. In Nepal, the average age for girls to start menstruating is 12-14 years. These years are the most vulnerable years of a teenage girl. They are just coming to terms with their sexuality when the added burden of menstruation adds up to their misery.
It happens like this. Just a normal day in school. She feels pain in her lower abdomen, she doesn’t know what it is. She has felt it for the first time. Some of her classmates know the pain and they try to help her. But the classroom is full of boys.....

Somewhere I too agreed on these stories murmured by my mom, and aunt, because my uncle always has been a loving husband. Everybody witnessed his love for Rima aunt. He never forced her for a child, never blamed her for her dark past and gave her all the luxury and respect that every girl wanted. Rima aunt just had got way too much than a raped victim could ask to god. May be the same love of Kaila.....

Full of inextricable quandaries
Shackled by boundaries
Boundaries of trepidations
Those who kept me in the dark
Not letting me to embark on
I lost myself in the trepidation of love
I tried my best in evolving
But all those shadows came revolving
All I wanted to see was a gleam
A gleam of a light
But I fizzled out
Surrounded with vacillating fears
Now I know
No path is sheer exuberance
So, I need to keep on moving
I need to keep on walking
Right through that obscurity and melancholy
Onto that road of highs and lows
Of peaks and valleys.
