After five years, I encountered a familiar face in my first-year Bachelor's class. He had grown taller and appeared more mature. He was no longer the shy guy among boys or the mean, arrogant person around girls. His eyes exuded friendliness, and he seemed genuinely pleased to see me. As days turned into months, we developed a strong bond and became close friends. We supported each other academically, shared ideas, and thoroughly enjoyed our undergraduate journey.

All bodies are beautiful! Love your body! Be confident!
These are messages we see everywhere these days: on social media, in magazines, in beauty product advertisements; everywhere. By rejecting society’s rigid standards for beauty, body positivity campaigns have long empowered thousands of women across the world to feel better about their bodies, and continue to do so.
But is that still the case? Is the movement still breaking boxes like it once advocated for or is it instead just creating a bigger box in disguise? And is the movement still rooted in its essence of empowering people to feel comfortable in their skin or has it changed its original.....

Menstruators' body physiology has long been ignored despite the fact that it is vital and significant. If one is unaware of his role in maintaining it, males' concealed role worsens it. Because boys don't bleed, and because they've been made to feel as though they have nothing to do with it while they have bigger roles to perform, the culture we are linked to has made men's roles in menstruation invisible.
