"Menstruation and Siblings: Love and Hate Relationship for both"
If someone asks me what are the things that I love and hate at the same time, my answer would be, siblings and menstruation. These two are the best part of our lives. They make us feel blessed. For me, these two things are quite similar. Can you imagine your life without siblings? Can you imagine how your life would be without menstruation? The answer to both the questions is NO. Menstruation comes along with responsibilities and worries and same goes for siblings. The more number of siblings we have, the more happiness, double trouble and responsibilities there are. Menstruation and siblings both are pain in the ass. Menstruation and siblings; fights, plays with patience, irritates, annoys, and makes us cry but no matter what we never say to God, “Mero koi bhai or bahini nahos” or “ma kahile means nahos bhanera." Their presence and absence both matter. They give us physical and mental stress and their absence increases it even more. Different situations and time make us learn everything. We learn to enjoy their company. Menstruation brings changes in our hormones and body, and most importantly, it brings changes in us; a positive change, a beautiful change that makes our body able to create a new life. What can be more magical than having this power of creating something so innocent and so pure? Siblings also bring changes in our life. We learn to love, share and care. We learn to take care of them like a mother, we become their second parents. Periods hurt and so do siblings. Sometimes they even become barriers in our life but we need them in our life. Whenever periods get late, we get worried. Similarly, when siblings don't get back home on time then we get worried and start contacting their friends. These two are one of the keys to our happiness and sometimes sadness. Menstruation and Siblings both play an important role in our daily life. They are expert in creating dramas and can make us postpone our plans at the last hour. Before making any trip plan or decision, these two can't be ignored. Their absence in our life can cause depression, sadness and loneliness. We all have both good and bad memories associated with them. Many happy and sad incidents related to them make our life complete and these become the memories that we can share and laugh about in our old age. I read somewhere that, "Sometimes, we will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory." Time spent with siblings and cravings and cramps during periods are one among such moments which we'll definitely learn to value with time. Have a safe and Happy period and Always love your annoying and nosy Siblings.
