Offering his entire life to the heavenly God in Aryaghat of Pashupatinath, a thirteen years old boy called Akash Baniya has been working on the banks of Bagmati river from his childhood. Firewood, log, straw to the cremation site is supplied by him. His happiness knows no bounds, when he gets some tips for the help, from the people attending funeral. Life is not so easy to be lived. He picks waste materials to earn an extra amount. However, he likes to use some extra ordinary ideas created in his mind like throwing magnet in the river for collecting coins. He too doesn't know every time about the results but at least, he tries his best to make his life easy.

Nowhere to live, but an open sky just above his head however, he has got a small cottage built with the help of some organizations that works for the street kids like Akash, who were forced to live a hard miserable life. He also carries a burden of other siblings on his immatured shoulders. From small age, he was deprived from the caring love of his father as he died seven years ago. He too lost his caring hands of his mother as she left him alone to struggle with sorrows for the rest of his life. As a brave man, with all the pains and sorrows in his young child's heart, he moved on accepting every challenges of life.

No any school for him and not even the guidance too, somewhere he got trapped in the wrong track of life. He added more sufferings by embracing wrong influences of bad company. In order to forget the hardships, he got trapped in habits of taking drugs and glue sniffing.

Now, his innocent life is in a big trouble. He is discriminated and discarded in every steps. He hides those unseen tears which he never wanted in his eyes. Now, with hatred, no emotions touch him nor he has that incredible smile in his face. And what shocks the most is, no people have few moments to stop, look and understand his unbearable pains.

Like a beautiful lotus, blooming in the mud of innocence, he too has some friends as precious gift and a reason to be happy. He has made a circle of friends, a family and now he even can't think a life without them. Swimming with the friends in the holy river soothes his all pain.

His entire life is compared with Parijat, that blooms after the sunsets and fades by falling down on the earth, early in the morning before the sunrises. He blames the fate for his entire life but he can never change it.
