It is already difficult for a girl to discuss menstrual problems with their father, brother, and male members of the family. Even just talking about periods is frowned upon in our society today. A daughter hesitates a number of times before telling her father or any male member of her family about her month-to-month cycle. In truth, many tend to hide behind their mothers and let their mothers speak to their fathers......

‘’It’s already late now. Tutoring students is quite a task till 8 pm. On top of that, this electricity cut’’, she said to herself. Her heart had already skipped a beat in that dark. Rape: Invitation from woman?

The first question asked when a rape case comes out is:
“What dress was the girl wearing?”
“What time was it during the incident?”
“What is the background and character of that girl?”
What! Do you feel like you have heard these statements or something like this anywhere? Let’s not go too far; we can get to see these conversations in our own country, our village, and sadly sometimes even in our own home. The dress and freedom of the girl are questioned before raising even a finger at the rapist. Then, does it really mean that the way a girl dresses is an invitation for rape? We can find it out ourselves.
