BY LAXMI

There are days when everything feels fine, and then suddenly, it doesn’t. That shift can be confusing, even scary, but it’s more common than you might think. Mental health is
something we all navigate, whether we talk about it or not.

Mental health refers to a person’s mental and psychological well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and behave, as well as how we handle and make choices.

Some of the most common types of mental health struggles are as follows
– Depression- constant sadness loss of interest, feeling of worthlessness, which
interferes with daily functioning is often known a depression
– Anxiety attack/disorder- The feeling of excessive worry, restlessness, fatigue, and
physical symptoms like racing heart or sweating because of stress, events which have
happened in the past or are happening in the present, etc.
– Bipolar disorder- excessive amount of mood swings which goes from highs to lows
which can affect a person’s energy, activity level, and judgment

to traumatic event. It has bad impacts to a person due to the past events.

One of the biggest challenges in maintaining mental health is the stigma attached to it. Many people still feel ashamed to speak up or seek help, fearing judgment or misunderstanding. But we need to that reaching out is a sign of strength, not weakness.

We can use things such as Therapy, support groups, mindfulness, exercise, proper sleep, and healthy relationships use to take care of our mind If you’re struggling, know that you’re not alone. Taking care of our mental health starts with acknowledging our feelings and reaching out for support when we need it. Managing our emotion through mindfulness, hobbies, or just taking breaks helps too. Healing is not linear, and that’s okay. The most important step is the one where you choose to begin. Your mental health matters. It’s okay to have bad days, to ask for help, and to take time to
heal. Be patient with yourself, keep going, and remember that even small steps forward are still progress. You’re stronger than you think, and you’re never alone.
