"Girls learn about Public speaking"
Visible Impact conducted a workshop on "Art of Speaking" with 15 adolescent girls of Kharanitar VDC o Nuwakot district, as a part of the Girls:Better after quake program. The program was conducted on December 16, 2016 at Shankhanath Primary School.
"The girls had been demanding for public speaking skills building workshop for quite a while now. We are glad that we have now been inally able to provide them the skills" shared Ms. Medha Sharma, CEO and Preident of Visible Impact.
The girls received the workshop some hands on skills, as they were gien a social issue to speak about in extempore, and provided tailored feedback by other participants and facilitators. Also, they were provided tips on improving their English speaking ability, and recommended with some applications that they can use in their tablets and phone.
The skills they have recieved will be hugely complementary to their leadership and accountability skills. the girls expresed their joy over being able to receive practical tips and evaluated the workshop to be a successful one.
